Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

The children's program we offer at St. Basil the Great is called The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.  It is about joyful, active, hands-on preparation for young people to enter into the Divine Service that follows, and the life of faith in Christ that then emanates from that worship.

The Catechesis is about the smallest among us discovering, uncovering joyfully, the reality that Christ the Good Shepherd knows them, loves them and desires to be in relationship with them.

"My body is happy!" declared a little one in an Atrium (the space where Catechesis takes place) one day.
